Zhang Jiping’s drawings use a traditional style of Chinese landscape painting, characterised by strong vigorous brushwork, careful and accurate contour lines and panoramic composition. Zhang Jiping depicts, China’s famous mountains, river and garden landscapes, he has participated in the nationwide site-specific painting exhibition of Beijing, with some of his works in the official collection. Jipings scenic stamp design of The Taishan (Tai Mountain) won him the award of ‘National Best Stamp’.
