CALL FOR ARTISTS

'PICTURE THIS: PHOTOGRAPHY OF ASIAN-PACIFIC LIFE' APRIL 2012

Artists are invited to submit digital images of current photographic works that they would like to have considered to 87ARTZONE for the April 2012 Picture This: Photography of Asian-Pacific Life exhibition that will run from 15/04/12 to 6/05/12.

87ARTZONE is a participant in the Queensland Festival of Photography 4 held throughout Queensland Australia that celebrates photo media in all its forms during the month of April 2012. There are over 46 participating venues, from Cairns to the Gold Coast. QFP4 is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

87ARTZONE are seeking applications of works that capture a part of the artist's culture in which they live. Works can relate to favorite/special sites that capture aspects of the culture you live in (residential and urban areas, natural areas such as forest, beaches, eating places, markets, festivals or any place of observation of local cultural behaviors, lifestyle, activities, rituals such as surf festivals, social places etc)
